1843 Garibaldo Ricciarelli creates Ricciarelli, a company specialised in manufacturing dies for pasta production.

1956 Ricciarelli builds the first weighing and packaging machine and the company takes on an increasingly well-defined managerial structure.

1986 Ricciarelli joins the Sasib group (CIR), with its world-wide presence in the Packaging, Bottling, Bakery and Tobacco Machinery, positioning itself inside the Packaging area. Increasingly well tuned to new technological developments, this area enables the group to become a leader in its sector in just a few years.

1990 Ricciarelli continues its phase of constant growth, both in terms of volumes, as of presence on new markets, operating in major food sectors, significant in terms of both consumption and technology, and has designed tailor-made solutions even for handling not easily conveyable products.

1993 Ricciarellicelebrates the Anniversary of its 150 years of history. Its brand name Ricciarelli is synonymous of quality and guarantee, in the world of packaging.

1995 The Company name is changed into SASIB PACKAGING ITALIA, launching the company on the world markets of packaging, for food and non-food products. Ricciarelli receives the quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001 approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance for the "design, development, manufacturing and installation of packaging machinery for the food industry".

1997 The new Sasib Food & Beverage Machinery group is formed, with a strong focus on the food industry and the creation of the Dry and Wet Area.

1999 Ricciarelli identifies in the pasta industry its "core business", completing its offer both up- and downstream, after reaching an agreement with other companies inside the Sasib group.

2000 The Headquarter of the company is transferred in the brand-new plant of Pistoia, situated in the industrial area of Sant’Agostino, easily reachable from the motorway.

2001 The Wet Area is sold and CIR creates the new "DRY PRODUCTS" group, focalised on the Packaging and Bakery areas, formed by the following companies: Sasib Packaging Italia (Pistoia, IT) - Sasib Packaging Systems (Cress, IT) - Spooner Vicars (UK) - Meincke (DK).

2002 The company presents itself with its new brand name and a new structure, entirely dedicated to the packaging field of Dry, Fresh and Frozen Products.

2003 Today the company finally changes its company name from previous Sasib Packaging Italia S.p.A. to RICCIARELLI S.p.A.

2006 Since the 29th march, Ricciarelli S.p.A. is owned by Dott. Marino Milella & C. S.A.S.

2006 Ricciarelli Energy is founded. The company is established for the study and the planning of cogeneration plants and electric energy production in particular from renewable sources.

2007-2009 Ricciarelli Spa has completed the machines range with palletizing and handling systems for the automation of the end line of the packaging lines of pasta and food sectors.
